Enhancement of Total ICT Solution Services in Asia-Pacific Region
NTT Singapore Pte Ltd (NTT Singapore, HQ: Singapore) will enhance its Global Services for Multi-National Corporations (MNCs) in Asia-Pacific Region (APAC) in order to quickly respond to their demands through its reliable global network and the excellent total solution for their Information and Communication Technology (ICT) (*1) systems due to the rapid growth and transformation of their global business activities in APAC.
The demands of outsourcing its APAC regional ICT systems are increasing especially in Singapore. As a Regional Headquarter (RHQ) of APAC, NTT Singapore will take the leading part among APAC subsidiaries (*2) in providing the Total ICT Solution Services to MNCs, in order to enable MNCs to establish more efficient global ICT systems. NTT Singapore will provide a package of the Total ICT Solution Services such as the IT Management Service (ITMS), which manages customers' servers and other ICT systems collectively. In addition, the company will respond to customer's needs to monitor the decentralized ICT systems in the region collectively by consolidating all the servers to NTT Singapore's Data Center.
Due to the growing demands of corporate globalization and the total ICT management, NTT Communications (NTT Com) has appointed NTT Singapore to start providing "Arcstar Global Network Services" (Arcstar Services) to MNCs commencing from August 1st, 2006. StarHub, which has been distributing Arcstar Services since 2000, will continue its involvement with NTT Singapore by being appointed the preferred reseller of these services in Singapore. StarHub will also be NTT Singapore's preferred supplier of info-communication products and services.
NTT Singapore will be the provider of Arcstar Services in Singapore to strengthen the company's advantage in APAC. NTT Singapore will continue providing wide range of services including the existing main services such as System Integration and Data Center services, with a capability of end-to-end one-stop services globally.
