NTT Communications Rated "Best International IP-VPN"
TOKYO, JAPAN - NTT Communications Corporation (NTT Com) was named the "Best International IP-VPN"
service provider in the "User Survey Analysis: Best International Network Service Providers in
Asia/Pacific 2007" *1 issued by Gartner Inc.*2, the world's largest IT research and advisory company.
In this survey, NTT Com's network reliability, customer-tailored support and comprehensive network
management capabilities were highly evaluated by users.
NTT Com has been continuously taking strong initiatives in providing reliable global network
services by improving the operational process, enhancing its resiliency of the networks and
strengthening customer support. As one of these activities, it has also been hosting a forum
called "Arcstar Carrier Forum", where NTT Com shares skills and methods with major Asia-Pacific
partners and tackles the issues together with them for better service quality. NTT Com believes
that these extensive activities involving partner carriers in the region are the key factors of
receiving this recognition.
Gartner surveyed IT and network managers of multinational companies operating in the
Asia-Pacific region in 2Q 2007. Respondents were asked to evaluate service providers
in terms of reliability, throughput, latency, customer support, installation/repairs,
range of options and price. A total of 16 providers such as AT&T, BT, Orange or
Verizon were rated for international IP-VPN services.
